The location was great, nearby to cafes, parking and public transport options. The breakfast was fantastic (well done).
There were several sets of stairs. There were no fans for hotter evenings. The combined toilet and shower were cosy.

Vague disappointment. Had to wait to receive a key to get in, will not book it again.
The location.
The apartment was not particularly clean. The TV didn't work and several lights don't work. There were no 'personal' items, soap a small bunch of flowers. The fridge was empty. We were surprised that what was effectively an Airbnb location was promoted on Booking.com.

What would you highlight about Appartement au pied de la Cathédrale
An honest appraisal
We were greeted by a pleasant young man who helped us up the stairs with our luggage (this apartment is not for people who cannot manage very narrow stairs). We were in the heart of the city. This location is very close to the Cathedral and many of the museums. There are also many restaurants and cafes located close to the apartment. We were able to get a tram from Port de Hopital to Gard Centrale which was very convenient.
The pleasant young man was quite surprised when I asked him to show me around the apartment (which I have found to be standard on arrival). On entering the bathroom I noticed a distinct smell of stagnant water; on looking into the washing machine we found the source. I asked "our guide" to show me how the washing machine worked, he had no idea and phoned someone (there were no instructions to be found). He got it going and told me to call if it didn't empty. He was very quick to collect our cash payment (no receipt was given) and to get a signature on a form written in French (which I do not speak). When I emailed for a payment receipt and a copy of the form I had signed I didn't get either so I didn't bother about the washing machine. It was quite hot during our stay which was made very uncomfortable as we didn't have a fan. There is an iron but no ironing board. I hope the next person enjoys the loo paper, washing up detergent and washing up sponges (new) we left; this is very much a bring your own.

Superb location. Comfy stay.
The location was superb, with a view of the cathedral from the bed. Everything I needed for my stay was there and was very comfortable.
I wish the price was a little bit cheaper, but it's perfect if you share it with someone. Otherwise nothing.
